I absolutely love this fairy tale. I actually had never heard it until I read it for this class. The artwork also contributes to the beauty of the story. This painting actually reminds me of Mt Si back home in Washington. I really like the idea of the castle inside the mountain. It reminds me of Lord of the Rings and also Krull...the horrible 1983 sci-fi action thriller with the mountain/fortress that can transport itself like star-trek beeming
