I had never heard the Cock Robin nursery rhyme before we saw My Book and Heat, but it was my favorite part of the film. I really liked how the body of cock robin was falling and growing larger during the film. The body of cock robin made me think of a paper doll.
Who killed Cock Robin?
"I," said the sparrow,"
With my little bow and arrow,
I killed Cock Robin."
...
Who'll toll the bell?
"I," said the bull,
"Because I can pull,
I'll toll the bell."
All the birds of the air
Fell sighing and sobbing,
When they heard the bell toll
For poor Cock Robin.
